Hi,

I have a serious problem with running wow application. I tried everything to solve this, but game just freezes and stopps responding after a random time (can be between 15mins  to 2 hours.

I have done following:

Reinstalled the game
Cleaned the hardware from dust and checked fans and temperatures for overheating
Been scanning computer for errors with alot of programs
Done disk defragment
Tried to change settings etc. to find the problem

«not responding» happens at any time, when lots of action going on or just when idleing. Doesn’t matter.

Steps to reproduce

Unknown. Node.js was run. Desktop was locked. These don’t cause it to happen on their own tho.

Expected behavior

No crash.

Actual behavior

Terminal crashed. The Node.js server kept running with no live terminal to control it by.

  2. Microsoft default Apps: «Stopped responding (and was closed)»

    Upgraded from Windows 8.1 Pro to Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.

    The problem with error reports on non responding Apps is not new to me; Windows 8.1 had them too- a lot.

    Apps are slow to start but do work and create an error report in the background, which can be found in the Reliability Monitor, reporting: «Stopped responding [and was closed]». Eventually, apps will start and work normally.

    However, the problem persists in Windows 10. Apps include (not exhaustive):

    • Store
    • Calculator
    • Film & TV
    • Weather
    • Money
    • Get Office

    Is this known and is there a way to fix this?

Поясните, пожалуйста, может я не понимаю какой-то особенной работы nCad.exe. Любая моя работа заканчивается тем, что я закрываю программу через диспетчера задач. Ну не закрываются же так порядочные программы, ну …

На что я обратил внимание. Потребление процесса накопительное (в плане ресурса), пример на оперативной памяти: при старте потребляет – 300-600 МБ, спустя пару часов  800 – 1000 МБ, спустя полдня работы показатель занятой приложением временной памяти почти всегда +- 1 266 МБ. Вот именно с этого момента и начинают происходить систематичные зависания с окончанием прям в самый… перестаёт совсем программа отвечать, короче.  На саму оперативку даже грешить не могу, потому что её 64 ГБ.

До того момента, когда программа не тормозит, ресурс потребления меньше. Когда программа начинает подтормаживать, ресурс немного возрастает (примерно на 30-40%). А вот когда nCad.exe перестал тормозить, потому что начал «не отвечать», процессы его в диспетчере задач потребляют сильно больше, чем в покойном своём состоянии (независимо открытого в данный момент проекта и dwg файла) и в рамках собственных возможностей софта последний, судя по всему, кипит и трещит аки самовар, потому что ресурс его поглощения возрастает х5 до грубо говоря камшота.

Пример: во время покойной работы загрузка  ЦПУ 2,1-4,7%,   ГПУ 0,1-0,6%,   ОЗУ менее 1%.

А во время его вот этих вот «неотвечаний»  ЦПУ 4-6%,       ГПУ 1-2%,       ОЗУ более 1%.

На железо грешить сами понимаете — попадать сразу на 9 круг по Данте, ибо процессор i7 с 8 ядрами 5 ГГц, две оперативки DDR4 по 32 каждая и видеопамять GDDR5 с личной памятью 8ГБ.

Я грешу на свои кривые ручки, например, я отключил файл подкачки, т.к. фудеревняштаэнто, ещё некоторые функции отключил и т.п.

Может вы знаете, что я лишнее отключил, что за аномалия такая? И есть ли ещё у кого так?

Что мне удалось ещё полезное достать из дампа винды.

ПС. Ещё невероятно бесит то, что после подобных выключений он иногда потом не может восстановить файл, файла автосохранений почему-то нигде нет… вот у меня сейчас такое ☹

После обновления с Windows 7 или 8.1 для корректной работы Windows 10 желательно переустановить основные драйвера в системе на актуальные версии. Обновление драйверов чипсета на последнюю версию может помочь устранить ошибки в системном журнале Windows, если таковые имеются.


Для материнских плат на чипсете Intel последнюю версию Intel Chipset Driver можно скачать здесь, или версию 10.1.1.9 c сайта Gigabyte здесь.
Для AMD — здесь.

При бесплатном обновлении с Windows 7/8.1 на Windows 10 активация привязывается к Вашему железу. Новый ключ при этом не выдаётся, в обновлённой системе пропишется один из общих ключей. Оставляете все настройки в BIOS, а также не отключаете никакие диски — ставите 10-ку, загрузившись с её установочного носителя. В результате у вас должно появиться меню с выбором системы для загрузки. Если приоритетной или последней перед перезагрузкой была 7-ка, то этот выбор ОС будет в старом классическом стиле с белыми буквами на чёрном фоне и перемещаемой полоской выбора. Если же в дефолте загрузка 10-ки или вы перезагружаетесь с 10-ки, то выбор ОС будет на голубом фоне, названия ОС будут в «плитках», курсор мыши вроде бы доступен — уже не помню. Если перезагрузиться с 10-ки и снова её выбрать, получив выбор ОС на голубом фоне, то происходит обычная дальнейшая загрузка 10-ки. Если же выбрать 7-ку, то сначала произойдёт автоматическая перезагрузка компьютера, а потом 7-ка будет сразу загружаться без каких-либо запросов.
Если ваши установленные ОС нормальные, без искажённых загрузчиков и не затвиканы до смерти, то никаких проблем с данным выбором ОС нет и не будет.

Все это справедливо при безупречной работе Win 10. Если будут проблемы с загрузкой, то и Windows 7 Вы загрузить не сможете.
Кроме того, при загрузке через Win 10 ничего, что относится к десятке, удалить не получится. Файлы будут заблокированы системой.
Так что независимая установка тоже имеет свои плюсы. Тут каждый решает сам.
А загрузочные меню и там и там можно легко отредактировать программами типа Виста бут про. С какого бы диска Вы ни грузились, будет выбор обеих систем. © Acsir

«В Windows 10 и Windows 8.1 используется новая методика масштабирования отображаемых на дисплее шрифтов. Существует возможность вернуться к старому методу масштабирования, используемого в Windows 8 RTM и Windows 7. В большинстве случаев это поможет решить проблему размытости и некорректного отображения шрифтов.
1.Создайте файл revert_classic_dpi.bat со следующим текстом:
REG ADD «HKCUControl PanelDesktop» /v DpiScalingVer /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00001018 /f
REG ADD «HKCUControl PanelDesktop» /v Win8DpiScaling /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00000001 /f

Проверял ливе сд от касперского и от др вэб, всё чисто. На форуме в ixbt в техподдержке отдавал образ системы на проверку от вирусов, там вирусов тоже не нашли. Вы не могли бы посмотреть смарт жесткого диска? Вот он:

Вопрос к знатокам!
1-й комп в профиле. Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, Версия 2004, Сборка ОС 19041.388.
ПК лет шесть, семь. Здоровье SSD диска OCZ Vector 256 Гб VTR1-25SAT3-256G SATA уже 80% (SSDlife показывает, что срок службы остался 1 год, 7 месяцев).
Хочу купить 500 ГБ SSD-накопитель Samsung 860 EVO [MZ-76E500BW], и клонировать данные со старого (действующего) SSD OCZ Vector 256 Гб на новый SSD Samsung 860 EVO 500 Гб.
Могут возникнуть какие-либо проблемы после клонирования и запуска системы с нового SSD (с самой системой, программами, сохранениями…)?
Подойдет ли этот SSD Samsung 860 EVO 500 Гб для системы (для клонирования).
И какой программой лучше клонировать, на системный диск эту программу устанавливать? При клонировании она же как бы работать будет…
Дополню, кроме системного SSD (С), в системе еще три HDD (на (D) игры, на (E) и (F) файлы). Надо ли их отключать при клонировании или еще какие действия с ними выполнять?

NemirOFF я использую загрузочную флешку с акронис труе имаже, там есть клонирование дисков, идеально работает, никаких проблем не будет

Windows 10 Pro, лицензия, установлена посредством загрузочной флешки, созданной средством с официального сайта. Версия 1909 сборка 18363.959

Стандартное приложение «Фотографии» начало любить мне мозг. С завидным постоянством (чуть ли не через два три раза). Есть папка с фотографиями. Пытаюсь открыть любую из них. А приложение — не открывается. Ну, т.е. пытается открыться, но всё заканчивается лишь чёрным экраном приложения (а из элементов управления — только правые кнопки Свернуть/в окно/закрыть). При этом — нажатием на крестик — приложение не закрывается а висит, но если навестись на миниатюру на панели задач и кликнуть там — то приложение спокойно закрывается.

Немного порылся. В Панели Управления, в Центре Безопасности и Обслуживания, ошибки отображаются. Двух типов. Либо просто: «Зависание»

vensant_jarden попробуйте переустановить приложение «фотографии», удалите и установите заново с сайта MS, хотя не уверен что поможет, у мне 1909 с последними для него обновлениями, и «Фотографии» работают, но при открытии приложения тоже черный фон несколько секунд, ранее такого не было.

10-ный «фотографии» вроде как поудобнее, но что 10-ный, что 7-ный кешируют картинки, и кеш может весить больше самой картинки… я уже писал об этом.
не лучше ли использовать сторонний «просмотрщик»? их сейчас вагон и маленькая тележка.

Не вникал что он там кеширует, но видел как быстро открывается семёрошный просмотрщик на слабых ноутбуках, по сравнению с 10-ный «фотографии»

я все равно предпочитаю сторонние просмотрщики, хотя и 7й неплох. быстрее чем JPEGView не видел. просто жмешь «стрелку» на клаве и через пару сек уже в картинка которая конце папки с сотней изображений.

Я знаю. Но стандартное приложение «Фотографии» — лично мне очень даже понравилось. Вполне удобное, да и работает вполне шустро (по крайней мере у меня).

С одной стороны — может быть и лучше. С другой — а зачем? Если и стандартное приложение работает нормально/устраивает (ну, за исключением тех случаев — когда возникают такие вот проблемы)))).

То нужно понять как починить и починить! ))) Я уже начинаю задумывать о радикальных мерах из разряда:

«Видишь проблему — просто переустанови Винду» (с). ) Но, блин, в 2004-й сборке, как мне уже выше ответили, дефрагментацию ещё не починили. (

ну это же не решение проблемы, если переустанавливать при каждом «чухе» 10-ки, то ей и пользоваться некогда будет, перестановка «фотографии» как я понял не исправила проблему… у меня тоже стало открываться «черным окном», правда через 3 сек. все работает. так то конечно удобно, просматриваешь «превьюшки» в папках, какую надо картинку открыл в полноэкранном.

Угу, угу. Хотя у меня вот — за последние месяцев, этак, 6 — по сути это первая видимая/существенная проблема. Так что — не всё так уж страшно с Windows 10 (ну, за исключением дефрагментации SSD). )))

Угу. Не исправила. Более того. Раньше, если картинка имеет действительно большое разрешение (скажем, условно, 3000×7000), то, если открыть её в полный размер и мышкой потянуть вниз или по другому направлению (и быстро отпустить) — она как по инерции — ещё катилась к нижнему/верхнему/боковому краю некоторое время. А сейчас — мёртвой хваткой встаёт сразу после того как кнопку мыши отпускаешь. Короче говоря — точно что-то сломалось, а что — чёрт его знает … Мдя.

Download PC Repair Tool to quickly find & fix Windows errors automatically

In this post, we will help you fix PWA Identity Proxy Host stopped working errors in the Reliability history. Many users have reported this issue that they see multiple PWA Identity Proxy Host errors under the Critical events section of the Reliability Monitor program on their Windows 11/10 computer. The summary for such errors is given as Stopped responding and was closed.

This issue is related to the identity_helper.exe application of the Microsoft Edge browser and the problem details of this error also show the faulting application path for that application present under the Edge folder. Because of some problem, the identity_helper.exe program stopped interacting with Windows which as a result generated PWA Identity Proxy Host error(s). Thankfully, there are some handy options that seem to fix this issue. This article covers all those options.

What is PWA Identity Proxy Host?

PWA Identity Proxy Host is an application file named identity_helper.exe. This application is associated with the Edge browser and it is digitally signed by Microsoft Corporation (if the application is legit). The application is responsible for helping integrate PWA (Progressive Web Apps) with Windows Shell to use web apps as regular desktop apps on Windows. You can locate this application using the following path:

C:Program Files (x86)MicrosoftEdgeApplicationVersionNumber

Replace VersionNumber with the actual version number folder of the Edge browser installed on your system and then the identity_helper.exe file will be visible under that folder.

If you see random PWA Identity Proxy Host stopped working errors in the Reliability Monitor history on your Windows 11/10 system, then the options given below can help you solve this problem. There used to be a Web Apps Identity Proxy setting (#edge-web-apps-identity-proxy) in the Flags page of Edge browser and disabling that setting helped a lot of users to fix this issue. But, it seems like that setting is no longer available in the newer version(s) of the Edge browser. So, use the following options:

  1. Update Edge browser
  2. Turn off the required options in Microsoft Edge Settings
  3. Reset your computer.

Let’s check these options.

1] Update Edge browser

An outdated program or a browser can cause different security and other issues and therefore it is good to keep a program updated. The same goes for fixing this problem also. Some users find that PWA Identity Proxy Host errors stopped appearing in the Reliability Monitor history after updating the Edge browser. So, you should also do the same. For this:

  1. Open the Edge browser
  2. Press the Alt+F hotkey to open the Settings and more menu
  3. Use the Settings option
  4. Click on the About Microsoft Edge category present in the bottom left part of the Settings page
  5. Microsoft Edge will start checking for updates and download and install them automatically.

Restart the browser after updating it to the latest version and this should solve the problem.

2] Turn off the required options in Microsoft Edge Settings

PWA Identity Proxy Host errors are also faced by users when the extensions are allowed to run in the background and Microsoft Edge is allowed to run with minimal processes in the background. So, you need to turn off the options associated with these features using the Settings page of the Edge browser. Here are the steps:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge browser
  2. Type edge://settings in the address bar
  3. Hit the Enter key to open the Settings page
  4. Access the System and performance category from the left section
  5. Find and turn off the following options:
    • Startup boost present in the System section
    • Continue running background extensions and apps when Microsoft Edge is closed
    • Set the Turn on efficiency mode when to Never using the available drop-down menu.

3] Reset your computer

If the above options don’t help in any way, then you should reset your computer using the built-in Reset this PC feature of Windows 11/10 OS. This feature is present under the Recovery page of the Settings app.

Before doing that, it is advised to back up your important data. Though the Reset this PC feature lets you restore your computer without losing the personal files, keeping a backup of the important items is always good.

In addition to that, you should also check for updates for your Windows 11/10 system. If the system update works, then it’s well and good. Otherwise, reset the computer.

Identity_helper.exe application hang

If you see PWA Identity Proxy Host stopped responding and was closed error in the Reliability Monitor history, then that means the identity_helper.exe application that helps in integrating PWA with Windows Shell was stopped from interacting with Windows. So i have had this happen twice where the game crashes and can’t recover but will not be close no matter what I try. I had to actually shut the power off after trying to restart my computer because it doesn’t know how to close the game. The first time it happened was in town of act 6 a few moments after entering it, the second time was on the way out of a heist after getting the object to steal. I have a intel I5 and GTX 1660, any other info needed let me know.

Possible temp solution
So me and 2 other people besides me have seen some success with switching from vulcan to DirectX, one person mentioned also switching to windowed from Full/Borderless also may help but I was fine with Borderless myself.

3.15 Update
I don’t know if it was one of the many changes for performance since the mid to end of last league but I can now run the game on Vulcan without it crashing and being un-closeable. Have had one crash so far and nothing went wrong with it so looks like the problem might be solved for some.

I encountered the same problem it happens when you are in Fullscreen mode.

No nothing helps but restarting the pc, I can not enter anything it blocks everything even task manager. If I play in windowed fullscreen it just freezes and I can close it.

I resinstalled the game, even deleted the MyGames file cleaned everything up cause of the occuring errors yesterday. After that it worked and I went to lvl 12.

New Patch today and I freeze again after 10-20 sec …. I don’t want to reinstall the game everytime when a new patch comes…

the Paycheck says everything is in sync … sadly it wasn’t that.

I can see it in the task manager but it will not allow me to end the task. I also tried running cmd prompt as admin and used taskkill but it told me there was no instance of the program running even though it was still frozen in the back. The only message i receive is from windows saying the task in not responsive.

Same issue, any fix for this? Game Crashes no error, can’t exit game or end task, it also makes pc takes long to restart if manually restarted from start menu..

I’m getting the same issue.
My issue occured in Borderless Fullscreen.

Program stops responding, task manager doesn’t do anything, taskkill/kill via command line (administrative) does nothing, specifically taskkilll /pid <id> responds with no process with that ID.

I think on the first crash I experienced like this going to detail view in task manager and trying to kill from there said I did not have permissions.

I don’t think these will help since windows event viewer shows the error description as «Unknown» but here are the Security & Maintenance Logs:

General Troubleshooting Solutions

There are four common tips that you should try first.

Method 1. Reconnect Your Device

Step 1. Unplug the phone, SD card or USB drive from the computer

Step 2. Close all the applications that are open in the background and then plug the device back in and check if the error persists.

Method 2. Restart Your Devices

Restart your phone and PC. After it’s off, plug your phone into a USB port again to turn your phone and PC back on.
