- for new connection, does test connect, ask for pin, once pin is inserted into pc: Pairing failed: -1
- when trying to connect to an already logged device: Can’t add device list

when testing using sunshine as the server, it comes up with this error:

— self build vpk from git repo, however also tested realise version, same issue occurred (unless deleting it from home screen want the best option)

### My thoughts
After some testing (updating moonlight-common-c) I believe (not sure on this) it may be an issue with vita-moonlight talking to PlatformSockets.

I recently factory reset my PC now Everytime i try to run Moonlight it pairs with my PC fine but when i actually click a game to stream it it gives me a «Failed to start stream: Error Code — 1 «Failed stage: RTSP handshake» (Error code — 1)
I am on Moonlight V 0.20.0 I have forwarded all ports needed changed resolution and FPS and i am still getting this error it use to run just fine before the factory reset. I am on Geforce Experience: Version 3.12.0.79 and driver version: 390.65 if anyone can help it would be much appreciated Thank you in advance.

hi,i was using moonlight 0.9.1 and moonlight pair correctly but when the stream starts it desconnects so
I installed 0.9.2 version because i saw the problem was fixed,but now when i try to connect my vita to pc i receive the message of paired failed -1,i would be grateful if someone helps me
i got solve the problem,i deleted the moonlight folder from ux0/data/moonlight and installed again 0.9.1,when i got paired with pc i unistalled 0.9.1 and installed moonlight again with moonlight 0.9.2 version,once this is done i was able to use it correctly,it seems that the problem came from setting files or that´s what i think,i dont know if this can help you but i live you here what i did.

@primon12 This is the answer I was looking for. Worked like a charm!

Sadly this did not work for me. I had the exact same scenario happen, however, downgrading to 0.9.1 did not fix it for me. I’m still receiving the same Pairing failed -4 error. Tried with two computers, with first one there’s that pairing failed error and with the other one my Vita reaches the «Input this PIN for pairing» and just does nothing after I send the PIN on my PC. It’s a bummer since Moonlight on Vita did work flawlessly before for me.

Finally managed to make it work on both computers. Completely uninstalled geforce experience, reinstalled sunshine and followed Op’s method of clearing data, pairing while in 0.9.1 and then updating to 0.9.2.
I fixed it with this method but failed again the next time.

I had to create the account just to express my sincere thanks! i was so annoyed that moonlight suddenly stopped working. but your method did the trick.
For all people who experience black screen again and disconnection, try connecting to added in GeForce Shield programme other than steam. i sometimes have problems with connecting directly to steam even with my android. for example, i connect via moonlight to RPCS3, or yuzu, which basically screenshares my desktop on Vita, and from there i launch game from already opened in background steam. it works every time… you can even close the initial programme with which you got connected, stream will not end… i hope this helps to anyone still having issues with black screen leading to disconnection… (i play on 1000 model)

**What is the expected result? It should connect to the server as it does after pairing and stay paired, so that everytime i open the program i should be able to connect to gamestream server.
What happens instead of that? The thing is that i have to delete everything under Ux0:/data/moonlight/ everytime it crashes or i quit without quit(stream)—> disconnect—>quit(moonlight) I have uninstalled GFE and Nvidia drivers with DDU and installed GFE 2.11 which gave RTSP error, but i was having this error all the time, since Alpha4 and had tried Alpha 2 and 3 before the transition to the new GFE3 that gives blackscreen on them and they where working fine.**

Выше прочти, я написал о ошибке, что соединение прервано после 20 секунд неактивности. А что о методе подключения? Если все взято с самого форума. Подключался через виташелл и через молекулу, используя файлзилла. Никаких других методов и не использовал, так как не вижу смысла.

Идентичная моей, 10-ка. Притом у него в моей сети да и наверное помимо неё подключается без проблем. Я уже и пытался порты открывать, 20-й там и 21. Ничего не изменилось. Выставлял настройки общей там и частной сети так как на ноуте, тоже мимо. Даже хз что можно еще сделать. Притом что где то полтора года назад была у меня ps3, и она спокойно подключалась по ftp на моем пк. Вчера даже поставил 7-ку с нуля, решил проверить, мало ли. И так же не помогло.

Hello, my name is George! Recently downloaded moonlight on ps vita (interesting application). Prefix I hacked version 3.68, the computer is new and powerful( game stream works). But I have a problem!
I connect to the pc and I’m fine (ps vita and pc see each other), but when I start the game, on ps vita is loading (15 seconds) and gives an error (error code -2147418110). здравствуйте, меня зовут Георгий! Недавно скачал moonligt на psvita (интересное приложение). Приставка у меня взломана версия 3.68, компьютер новый и мощный( gamestream работает). Но у меня проблема!
Я подключаюсь к pc и у меня все хорошо (ps vita и pc видят друг друга), но когда я запускаю игру, на ps vita идет загрузка (секунд 15) и выдает ошибку (error code -2147418110). Иногда же все таки работает, но только со steam и то не всегда. И тут же другая проблема. в steam я могу пользоваться только сенсорным экраном, то есть, кнопки и стики в ps vita не работаю. И еще в первый раз когда я включил steam кнопки и стики работали. Я нигде не нашел ответа и уже не знаю что делать, помогите пожалуйста!
PC- GTX 1060, 8gb, intel core i7 770k.
