Симптомы

Предположим, что на компьютере установлена Visual Studio 2012 обновления 4 или Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Пакет обновления 1 (SP1). Что если после построения проекта Visual C++, Visual Studio может произойти сбой во время КОМПОНОВКИ и может появиться следующее сообщение об ошибке:

    Thank you for posting in MSDN forum.

    Please try with following steps:

    1. Go to Control Panel. do a visual studio 2010 product repair from the Programs and features.

    2. Disable AV software and firewall temporarily.

    3. rerun the patch
    Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 (KB2736182)  and install it correctly.

    This update is only applicable for Visual Studio 2010. Although you can install it on any machine, it is meant for Windows 8 machines with Visual Studio 2010 installed on it. The fixes we are providing in this update are already
    part of the Visual Studio 2012 product and hence you don’t need any update to get the same.

    If you are using any of Visual Studio’s testing tools (Coded UI Tests, Microsoft Test Manager, Load test etc.) on a Windows8 VS 2010 machine, please go ahead with this update.

    It has the specific requirement if you want to install this SDK. You have to install the VS2010 SP1.

    For example we have an old VS2010 Environment:

    And then I try to install this SDK sp1:

    So if you want to install SDK sp1, yo have to install the SP1 firstly.

    Note: The VS2010 sp1 was not the same package as Visual Studio 2010 SP1 (KB2736182).

    Before you visit that page, did you get a log-in window?

    As far as I know, it would require a subscription account.

    Anyway, it was not different from the previous issue, the previous issue is that you didn’t install the sp1, so you need to install it before you install that sdk.

    If you have no account, just see above FAQ.

    Just search VS2010 after you sign in it:

    You would find the Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1.

Добрый вечер! Ситуация такая после переустановки VS10, стала вываливаться вот такая лажа(смотрите скрины), Google на мой вопрос ответить не смог, яндекс тем более. Сначала я думал проблема с реестром, попробовал почистить , также попытался по удалять все директории созданные VS как ведите не помогло, тогда я решил что оброс битый загрузил его с оф. сайта ms но нечего не изменилось, поэтому у меня надежда только на ваш мозг.

Откройте Visual Studio Command Prompt (находится в «Пуск -> Программы -> Visual Studio -> Tools»).
Выполните команду

Она запускает Visual Studio в «безопасном» режиме, когда никакие сторонние
расширения не загружаются (возможно, причина в них).

Решение

Попробуй полностью удалить Visual Studio, Net FrameWork, почистить реестр и перезагрузиться, а потом заново установить студию.
Или попробуй установить другую версию студии например 2012, а затем 2010-ю

Удаление Net Fraemwork’a помогло, не знаю почему я сам до этого не додумался видимо хреновый из меня будет программист. ВООБЩЕМ СПАСИБО.

I’m trying to install Visual Studio 2010 on Windows 7 64-bit and I keep getting following screen:

Error occurred during setup - Setup could not install the following component: Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Express Prerequisites x64 etc.

I tried to install also Visual Studio 2008 with similar result. I’m starting to think it might be caused by some problems with my Windows Installer. Any idea what could it be?

We had same problem. And we found the reason. The .iso we downloaded from MS site was downloaded with errors.

We downloaded it again with different downloading tool. New .iso installed correctly. And these .iso files appeared to have different checksums.

The info you got from log seems to confirm my thoughts:
The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package.

Try to download the VS2010 .iso image again.

Going off your error code of 2329, and googling it with «visual studio 2010», I get the following link:

  • Windows Installer Error Messages

and looking up that error code:

2329 Error deleting file: 3.
GetLastError: 2.

Another link says to uninstall Windows Installer, reboot, and reinstall it.

  1. Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall windows installer
  2. Reboot
  3. Download and install it:

If you are using a home brew disk that you created from an ISO file, then redo it. It took me three times to create an install disk before I could finally install it without errors. Unfortunately, there is no indication that the burned disk had errors or problems other then not installing.
