I updated to the latest version of TaiHen, R8. I was excited because you can spoof again, I logged in with my account and downloaded this months Playstation Plus games. After 5 or so minutes I open VitaShell and I get this…
The File is corrupt. (C1-2738-0)
I tried rebooting, installed R8 again, no luck.
I’m even getting Browser errors when trying to go on the internet to try and reinstall TainHen.
Any ideas?
Edit: Oh and I deleted VitaShell by mistake. Now I can’t get it back.

When uploaded to the PSVita, error C1-2738-0 on launch, after the trophy warning.
I saw a similar issue (#17), but the details are lacking.
It look like the files aren’t generated correctly, but I can’t see where I went wrong, could somebody enlighten me?

[SOLVED] Ummm, Whoops. (C1-2738-0 caused by Vitamin)
Well this kinda sucks,
I was trying to Decrypt Welcome Park using Mr.gas’s method seeing as the method used was never released. Made some progress, then out of curiosity checked Vitamin. Welcome park showed up so I tried dumping, it failed and later I come to find out that my Welcome Park is corrupted and giving me the above error.
Like an idiot I thought that since pd0: was read only I wouldn’t have to make a backup, I was wrong.
Anyone out there that knows how to fix the error?
Relevant Information:
Vtia FW: 3.60 (latest Henkaku Installed)
pd0: files seem intact including the license as far as i can tell.
All changes i made have been undone.
Tried booting without memory card inserted, same error.
Vitamin stopped after opening welcome park with an error, ps button back to vitamin just defaulted to selection menu. (eg, vitamin failed to hijack the app)
Update: SOLVED and bonus, Managed to decrypt Welcome Park (put pd0 in your app.db instead or in addition to ux0/gro0, which i really should have tried first.)

I don’t have an update folder in ux0? I would guess that it is not anything on the memory card at this point since the problem persisted even when it was removed.
I know others have solved this error code by restoring the system. I could do the same but that is more of a last stitch effort.
Would it be possible to get a file tree of pd0 to cross reference my file sizes against?
Update:
I did manage to get it solved. Apparently Vitamin corrupted the app.db entry for Welcome Park and I had the foresight to backup my app.db just before it got corrupted. Restored the app.db and it is all hunky dory.

Would suggest using maiddump instead BTW and I was wrong about updates folder, I think its called patches or something on the Vita.

Hi, this happens when you try to reload retroarch after loading a damaged or non-working core.
Microsoft-style solution would be to reinstall Retroarch and I don’t need it, and I know it wouldn’t work either as probably it only takes to delete retroarch.cfg file to get me running again.
Problem is, I have many custom settings on that file and I’d prefer to fix it instead.
Can anyone point me to the string/line that I need to check in retroarch.cfg to fix this?
I already tried searching for «core», «startup» and such keywords in the file, but none of them seems to point to the corrupted core I tried to load.
Thanks in advance for your support.
