ПРОБЛЕМА
После обновления Outlook 2010 с использованием общедоступного обновления за ноябрь 2018 г. (KB 4461529) происходит сбой или внезапное закрытие приложения Outlook при запуске. Эта проблема возникает только на 64-разрядных версиях Outlook 2010.

Файл OLMAPI32.DLL считается разновидностью DLL-файла. Help! I have been using the 2010 beta of Outlook for ten days with no problems, but that changed last night when MS pushed a set of security updates to my computer. Now when I launch Outlook 2010, I get «Error olmapi32.dll.» I have searched the internet extensively. This error was apparently common with Outlook 2007. The seemingly-best advice I could find [together with how it worked for me — or, rather, did not work] is as follows:
1> find all occurences of olmapi32.dll on your system. Rename «olmapi32.OLD.» Run fixmapi.exe.
[I searched my entire HD — no occurences of olmapi32.dll. Ran fixmapi.exe. Still have the problem.]
2> delete all prior versions of Office
[I tried but could not. There are program files for Office XP in my add/remove programs list. When I click «Remove,» I get «perparing to remove,» then that window disappears and the program is still listed.]
I tried ghosting my system to back before the MS updates, to a ghost image made very early this AM, but the updates are there in the ghost image as downloaded updates waiting to launch. My system immediately launched them once the ghost recovery was complete. Since ghost is sector-based, there is no excluding the updates. I shouldn’t ghost back farther, for reasons I needn’t get into.
Please, I desperately need help. I have multiple emergencies to attend to and cannot afford to burn time on this nonsense. Anyone? Much obliged, John
Scenario: We are running Office 2010 64 bit Professional as a network installation point on a Windows 2008 Server.
When the software is installed to a newly built Windows 7 machine, everything appears to be fine until we try to run Outlook for a pre-existing employee’s profile.
When Outlook is launched for the first time, Outlook will load until it reaches “Contacts” and then the following error will occur:

The application will close and the error reoccurs each time Outlook is launched after.
These are other options we have tried:
- Running with Office 2010 SP1
- Running without Office 2010 SP1
- Running with all Office 2010 optional updates
- Not running the Office Customization Tool
- Disabled all add ins.
- Checking the size of the employee’s mailbox. It occurs with all sizes from a small KB mailbox to larger mailboxes.
- Machine with only Windows 7 (no other software) and then installing Office 2010.
- Upgraded the Office Customization tool from the Microsoft website (18968)
- Reinstalling the Office 2010 network installation point using the Network Manager’s actual Administrator account.
- Repaired the Office 2010 installation
- Repaired the Outlook data files.
The unusual circumstance about this problem is that if we install the same exact software directly from the DVD,
Outlook works, the error does not occur and there is no instance of olmapi32.dll resident on the computer.
So, I am not sure where olmapi32.dll is coming from and why it is installed when coming from the server.
However, we need run the software from the installation point on the server in order to deploy on our campus.
Any ideas?
