Перешел на виндовс 10 с 8.1 и одна из моих некогда портативных программ при запуске стала выдавать ошибку
«ThinApp has encounrered an unexpected error. Click Abort to close the application, retry to debug, or Continiue to ignor the error. Suport info; PID=4084, Wow64.cpp@483»
Думал это особенность Win10 но нифига! Оказывается подобные сообщения у многих людей были популярны. Правда ответа на ворпос я не нашел.
Может кто расскажет, что это такое?

Добрый день. Есть портативная версия, которая работает на windows 10? Скачал несколько портативок, но ни одна на 10 не заработала, сразу пишет что «ThinApp has encountered an unexpected error» и закрывается.

ThinApp has encountered an unexpected error. Click Abort to close the application, Retry to debug, or Continue to ignore the error. Support info: PID=6860, create_process.cpp@4444, Unexpected exception in RelaunchUsingCreateProcess.
The other systems that are running it fine are on build 10240 and they are laptops. That’s the only difference I could find.
Is there anything I could do to fix this?
I’ve tried running as admin, compatibility mode, no use.

I had problems creating portable apps with Windows 10 until I started using the latest version of Cameyo (www.cameyo.com).
I tested the latest version of Cameyo and have had no problems creating portable applications with many programs. Some programs (that had problems even with Windows 7) still dont virtualize (such as Office 2013 and Office 2016) but most programs I have tested work.

I had problems creating portable apps with Windows 10 until I started using the latest version of Cameyo (www.cameyo.com).
I tested the latest version of Cameyo and have had no problems creating portable applications with many programs. Some programs (that had problems even with Windows 7) still dont virtualize (such as Office 2013 and Office 2016) but most programs I have tested work.
A second virtualization program I use is Turbo Studio (formerly Spoon Studio) (https
/turbo.net/studio) — the new version also works in Windows 10 x64.
I recreated all my old Windows 7 portable programs with Cameyo and Turbo Studio and have had few problems.
Now I can create portable versions of programs that I use infrequently and keep them handy on a USB drive.
P.S. I create ALL my portable apps on a VirtualBox virtual drive that contains a clean, virgin install of Windows 10 x64. This is the recommended method of creating portable applications.

We have a legacy VMware Thin App virtualised application which has been working until quite recently, i.e. just in the last day or so, users are experiencing app crashes when launching the virtualised app.
We have found that removing the Webroot client from a sample computer eliminates the symptoms of the application crashing and therefore we believe that the Webroot client is interfering with execution.
We have added Global Whitelists entries for the Application executable and for the UNC from where the Application executable is run and streamed, but this has not resolved the issue.
I suspect that somehow the Webroot client is interfering with the data streaming process upon which the ThinApp virtualisation framework depends.
This affected application is business critical, so I need to find a way to correct this behaviour, or we will be forced to abandon Webroot in favour of an alternative AV solution for all affected users.
I have a raised a Support ticket today and currently awaiting a response.
Any ideas how we might be able to actively prevent the Webroot Client from scanning data that is streamed (or executed) from a UNC, beyond Global Whitelisting which evidently is not working for us?
