Lock on ошибка при запуске

Сам сталкивался с такой байдой.

Запустилась игра после третьей переустановки.

Последовательность действий:

— формат диска (у меня отдельный раздел с отдельной виндой, в которой только ЛО и необходимое для полетов)

— устанавливаем ВинХР СП1 + необходимое.

— устанавливаем ЛокОн. Если запускается — радуемся, как дети малые (жена была в шоке :D)

— Если не запустилось — uninstall ЛокОна, сносим его директорию (для верности), устанавливаем СП2

— Устанавливаем ЛокОн, пробуем.

И все это Repeat Until LockOnStart = True.

Я заметил такую особенность:

игра может запуститься БЕЗ переустановки. Как у меня один раз и было (поставил в одной винде, запускал из другой). Но после переустановки винды стала появляться ошибка. Так что лучше все же переустанавливать (хотя можно и попробовать запустить уже установленную, и при необходимости переустановить ГС).

Можно с мышей поподробнее?

Щёлкнуть правой кнопкой по ярлыку или исполняемому файлу (*.exe) — «Свойства». Там закладка «Совместимость». На ней поставить галочку «Запустить программу в режиме совместимости» и выбрать из списка WindowsXP. Но мало шансов, что это поможет. Вот пара цитаток с сайта Eagle Dynamics:

Всем привет! Люди, а подскажите пожалуйста, в чём может быть проблема? Купил «LOCK ON: Горячие скалы-2» (на одном диске была, в картонной коробке). Установил. Запустилась заставка, потом меню. Вроде всё нормально, но при запуске самой игры она вылетает и появляется сообщение, что «ошибка приложения» и всё слетает. Переустанавливал три раза — результат одинаковый. Может надо её устанавливать на более раннюю версию или типа того? Помогите советом, я просто в LOCK ON полный «ноль», но очень хочется попробовать! Заранее всем спасибо!
