Global cfg not found igo ошибка

Проявления проблемы:

На телефоне или планшете после обновления Android не запускается навигация Igo Nextgen или Igo Primo.

Ошибки, которые появляются:

  • Отсутствует или неполная директория
  • global_cfg not found
  • Вставьте SD карту с IGO

Суть проблемы:

После обновления программного обеспечения, Андроид отзывает разрешения у приложения навигации, и программа igo перестает запускаться и выдает ошибку.

Решения:

Вариант 1. Телефон или планшет Xiaomi

Вариант 2. Телефон или планшет Samsung

Вариант 3. Навигация iGo Primo и ошибка «Вставьте SD карту с IGO»

Если эти варианты не помогли нажмите сюда.

1. Отсутствует или неполная директория, global_cfg not found

При запуске приложения появляются следующие ошибки:

1. На экране устройства удерживаем иконку приложения

2. В появившемся меню нажать на «О приложении» с буквой i

3. В появившемся меню «О приложении» выбираем «Разрешения приложения»

4. Пролистываем вниз и ищем где написано: «Доступ запрещен» и меняем везде на «Разрешить»

После этого приложение будет работать.

2. Самый часто встречающийся вариант на планшетах и телефонах от Samsung

Этот вариант аналогичный выше описанному, отличие лишь во внешнем виде иконок и меню. При открытии приложения видно следующие ошибки:

1. Удерживаем иконку приложения навигации до появления меню и нажимаем на букву i в кружке

2. В открывшемся меню «Информация о приложении» нажимаем на раздел «Разрешения»

3. В открывшемся меню мотаем вниз до раздела «Запрещено» и разрешаем все пункты

Приложение будет работать.

3. При запуске Igo Primo появляется ошибка «Вставьте SD карту с IGO»

Ошибка которая появляется:

1. Удерживаем иконку приложения и в появившемся меню выбираем «Информация о приложении»

2. Листаем вниз до раздела «Разрешения» и нажимаем на него

Если эти варианты не помогли

Бывают случаи, когда вы все разрешили, все установили правильно, но приложение все равно не работает. Скорее всего, у вас заглючил Андроид. В этом случае проще сбросить планшет и телефон до заводских настроек и заново настроить навигацию.

Заключение

Исходя свыше описанного, приходим к выводу, что не важно, какой фирмы планшет и какая стоит версия Android и как называется пункт меню или раздел суть действий одинакова, необходимо дать приложению разрешения.

As we know, IGO maps have IGO8, IGO primo and igo my way version. Some friends let us know that they get terminal error message “global_config not found” when starting navigation software.

The error message comes up on the device. The navigation does not start at all as the file in question has been deleted or damaged.

You need check as below steps;

  1. you need check if you put these files into corrected folder. Usually, you need put all files in the root of internal storage if windows ce 6.0 (wince 6.0) system; you should put all files in the in the root of internal storage in folder named iGO or IGO_Basar If android system. 
  2. Then, please find the “content” folder on your device or SD card, and copy the downloaded zipped file inside the “global_cfg” folder.
    Please note that in order to restore functionality the zipped file (It should not be unzipped), and the old one should be overwritten.
  3. Should you receive the “Global_cfg not found” error message after an update please try restoring a backup via last backup(from our files or your hands) and then download the update one more time. After that please check if the error message still pops up.

In case the error is still there, please check your device or SD card for any errors using ScanDisk. To do this, please connect your device or SD card to your computer and troubleshoot by clicking:
Start – My Computer – Right click on the SD card or device flash memory – Properties – Tools – Check Now – check ‘Automatically fix file system errors’ – Start

    Default global_cfg not found

    Hi,
    I have just installed a new head unit in my Rav4. A Dasaita HA5298B-V940 Android 9 screen 1024*600 PX5 cpu. Igo Pal iGO719WD
    When I first installed the unit I assumed that the sd card connected via usb as a GPS card was supplied with a usb adapter.
    On powering up I got the global_cfg not found error. I had the same error while driving in my other vehicle with a Dasaita head unit as well but different model running Igo israel iGO687WD_IL. I ended up fixing that on the fly by changing the global_gfg to .xxx, restarting , then changing back and it started up fine.
    I tried this on the Rav4 and after I realized that there must be a hidden GPS sd card somewhere, changed the global_gfg and that worked.
    Today when trying to upgrade the maps with the file manager loading the maps from a USB, I got the global_cfg error again and now can’t seem to get it to work.
    Firstly, why does this happen on a system that was previously working fine, and secondly is there a procedure that will always fix this?

    There could be few reasons.
    First, in your post sometimes you name it global_cfg and sometimes global_gfg. Maybe name is wrong.
    Try to do all file operations with Total Commander instead of your default file browser, which in many cases do not allow to change file extension while renaming and you end up with wrong file name.
    Total Commander will notify if any operation is not done successfully, but default file browsers in many cases are not giving any feedback if operation does not end correctly.
    Before copying new global_cfg from USB, delete old one, or rename old one and delete it later (after copying new).
    And most important: before any file operation force stop app in Android settings, because when file is used by app it can not be deleted, replaced or modified.

    BTW, you could have put all your problems in this one post.
    No need for separated question about map colors which could be solved by copying all missing files in scheme folder.

    Thanks for the reply,
    I did manage to get the GPS going again by renaming the global_cfg folder and file and after some mucking around it came good. I managed to change maps as well.
    I did some work today on my other vehicle and I did nothing to the gps, but it came up with the global_cfg not found error as well. Only thing that seemed to work was removing the sd card and starting the program then re-inserting it and the Nextgen started up fine.
    I was not sure if asking multiple unrelated questions in the same thread was a good idea. I will do that in the future. I will try Total commander as well as the standard one is not that great.
    I appreciate the help.

    One note: it is not recommended to use iGO or other software from a USB device. It’s totally the other thing with computers where the (portable) USB software is completely loaded into memory and works actually from there.
    There are protocol-related problems with transfers (usb — SERIAL). This applies to most applications that are used from external storage devices.
    This is why SD cards are mostly used.

    I was using my usb to transfer files to the (hidden) sd card. I have always used usb for media playing and that seems to work OK. thanks for the explanation of why SD cards are still used with navigation.

    It has happened again while trying to fix the voice problem when on a phone call and I cannot for the life of me get it to work again now.
    Is it a good idea to re-install by clicking the iGO719WD.apk on the sd card?
    I am desperate.

    Sorry to be the main one replying to my own thread, but I finally got it all going again. I tried everything, cleared cache, re-installed, formatted cards, tried different configurations of the cards. all no good and hours gone.
    I finally un-installed the apk and re-installed it and it worked. I then made copies of the card for future use and also copied new maps, schemes, and sys.txt over to the working card.

    Логически — самая очевидная причина и скорее всего все так и есть, однако, когда я, например, копировал в устройство новые карты, то проводник матерился под конец, в итоге после удаления ненужных голосовых файлов кое-как все утрамбовал, но под завязку, ничего не матерится пока и все работает.

    Есть предположение, что при первой установке репака нужно больше свободного места для инициализации нового «лицензионного» ПО.

    Ну как что — не нужные лично вам карты, голоса, лицензии и т.п.
    Лично для себя оставил только Россию, а весь остальной мусор пока не разгребал времени нет

    Лишние карты убрал, лицензии тоже, однако при перезапуске выдал ошибку global cfg not found, зашел в папку и правда его там нет, скиньте кто нибудь со своего медиа нав это файлик пожалуйста, вставлю его обратно в папку. Видимо когда первый раз система зависла этот файл и слетел.

Здравствуйте. Пришло сообщение у меня что пришло новое обновление ПО моего Media/Nav до 4,1,0

. Обновил все хорошо потом программа попросило обновить и навигацию (Карту)

ну я пошел домой добавил на флешку и пошел к машине. Делал не в первый раз поэтому знал что и как делать но…не тут было.вот здесь

Вот так целый час и никакой реакции

Пришлось скидывать клеммы и выдал потом вот такое сообщение на MediaNav

ПУТЬ global_cfg not found

Потом сама навигация и карты не работают (не активная кнопка «Я согласен«).

Ребята что произошло и как исправить программный сбой?
P.S. Прошивка и карты официальные не ломанные.
